La Honda 05:37
I want to lean out, I want to see you again going up the 84 winding the trees bend in the wind as if they could be green, like they were back then before the land became so dry and the leaves died I want to send you that letter that i never sent La Honda I want to pass through you again The ocean won't refuse to be seen on this bright afternoon I'll thank the half moon soon hanging brighter overhead it laughs at you when your sorrow says you're dead to choose La Honda I want to pass through you again Apple Jacks and down the road there was Boots and Saddles to the bend where San Gregorio meets the sea You are in front of me it's past the truth of how much I love you but will I tell you again? What could I do without you and your land La Honda I want to pass through you again. So deep the blue skies above the redwood trees thoughts that you can hear from the girl that lives up there So honest and so true I thank you for everything you do long may you live I want to send you that letter that i never sent La Honda I want to pass through you again La Honda I want to pass through you again.

Hours 04:35
I spent hours thinking about the way that we must move the world demands that you can't stay I think about how you want to go where the weather feels your clothes I will go I will move I could cross from one sea to another no one buys these stories anymore There is no way to say the things the same way I am thinking of you I will go I will move All of the things of the moment sound so absurd you can't be the way things were I forget the things that seem so wrong I will go i will move I will go I will move If I leave I will leave a way of life behind I will place my home in order and take that with me

Perfect Pale 04:34
you can talk about misery in the perfect pale off the key getting grated and sail from one word to the next. I tell you I haven’t heard you for so long Not this much If anything I’m lost without this on The past has waited for so long I had some news to tell you but i seem to have left it somewhere it’s in a channel that got interrupted oh the amplified have been gaining ground a lesson that is around make up for the time it’s not so on the mark when it’s gone it’s gone just pick up where you’re going and get where you belong And trust the face that is in the blowing leaves for now still on the trees what you left is all I know of you It’s like that i suppose the strangers - how they grow to pick up the way your eyes lift up to make decision I saw a black rat on the floor it ran under the bed it was there but it didn’t want to be seen you can be sure of one thing it’s perfectly clean it’s just in the minds that are so ugly that there is no surprise I’m following your eyes go get some fruit down the street I’ll take you to a room and play you a song you told me I could not sleep I’ll see you tomorrow the space is opening
4.
I’m on the phone with you video screen shows your face thousands of miles away I’m heading out to the streets (in an hour) i’ll be seeing people the water is on the stove you are talking about my happiness I am talking about your work I’m thinking about mine The sun is out in New York City The marine layer is over Los Angeles in a little while the sun will come out brighter than you have ever seen I wonder what you’ll say? I know how much you care about your friends I want you to see them and feel free What will we do? What will we do? We can be in the sun in the winter the desert is a long view and I could walk for days the skies have colors that I saw in a film and the world that I saw in a painting The sun is out in New York City The marine layer is over Los Angeles in a little while the sun will come out brighter than you have ever seen I wonder what you’ll say? What will we do? I love you so I want to drift with you I want to have a home with you wherever we go chorus

Fear of a melody that is lost in it’s sound waiting for a breakout waiting for a time that is moving oh where do you want to live? I suspect you find the sun a better place to be A spinning of an apple in a tree if you rest you get confused My lungs are dreaming of you and I’m convincing you stay I spot you through the long hours on the waves of the telephone you could be caught you could use some bite somebody told you once it was fierce My lungs are dreaming of you here i am trying to convince you to stay The wreckage of the still through the sound I will see you from a distance far along down the street It might be time to talk about some other things Keeping on if you get out and use the visions of a different land My blood is dreaming of you Here I am trying to convince you to stay Fear of a melody that is lost in it’s sound waiting for a breakout waiting for a time that is moving oh where do you want to live? My blood is dreaming of you My lungs are dreaming of you My lungs are dreaming of you Here I am trying to convince you to stay

Why let the wind drive you crazy? Impatient pines lead a song of waiting Help me to find the words I need to say let the needles be greener than before The day it shines a cold broken one imitations to the story you had it though it happened Help me to find The words I need to say Let the needles grow greener than before Shadows cut with scissors first light of day the needle saw him in the shape of waiting In the whispering pines they seem to have said these are impatient times I need to know cause nothing is sure it will be there much longer than the waiting Help me to find the words I need to say let the needles grow greener than before let the needles grow greener than before let the needles get greener than before let the needles grow greener than before let the needles be greener than before

hold the last one for awhile the night you nearly left here for good i would spring to my feet to meet you again after the cruel hours had me on my knees a wind that blows up through the streets i remember it seemed cold for days and it beats down my will i fall asleep for an hour and i dream of the sun that i know from my home i just want to run back to you i see a dead leaf float on the sidewalk it reminds me that you are not here i could fly, or ride, maybe find that train that i hear in the mornings oh that whistle throws a sound that is a trail out of here i might ask you to help me to be cruel to the things that don’t want me leaving i close my eyes and i see you in the cities where you belong about the noise and the hours that the light changes the shapes of the buildings your friends call out for you sometimes the lost have found their reflection in you i like this city when it rains i pass the corners where i knew that you told me i love you it makes up for all the pain i come after the sound of your laughter it’s what i want to know because time won’t come back again it feels good to write this letter to you

Leaves show the sound of the rain in the hollows of the yard weather you stay or you fall a night that dresses in rags waits for her moon and its light to see by Passes the cloisters of doom passing the cloister of your room A stray in the wind wanders through the door inertia of breeze draws a map and the water clings to the grass the sky clings to life bare your teeth as you weep in the cold where you're keeping your grief eleven do you walk? Trees show the sound of the rain in the hollows of the yard weather you stay or you fall a night that dresses in rags waits for her moon and its light to see by leaving behind the cloisters of doom leaving behind the cloister of your room leaving behind the cloisters of doom leaving behind the cloister of your room

I'm scared to call you I don't know what it is you're trying to hide the things you told me said it all I don't want to get in the way of your comfort i want you to know i respect your decision how you wish to go I hope that you see light and that it makes you feel warm Inside this pain there are no words that i could say to you It makes my mind drift to the west I see and feel the wonder of you I wonder how i got so lucky to have benn chosen by you I need to call you in the morning it's hard because I worry about being late I'm scared sometimes at the way I think you want me to choose Inside this pain There are no words that i could say to you I love you I don't always need understanding I'm missing you don't know what the world is handing me I can tell the water has been in repose rest here for awhile and let me know you hear me I don't want to push you away Inside this pain there are no words that i could say to you There are no words inside this pain there are no words that i could say to you that i could say to you

Grand Jeu 05:08
tears are just a fraction of this gift which we've been given the cosmos must shine for hours serve its darkness through which we lay here melody of a bird the voice which is a proof gifted with lightning an appeal to the tongue that somebody one day invented fabric moment of stars they say to me convincing trust is sure as the smell of apples radiant creature wings are sure stay it was with yourself it was within yourself the north the south the east the west a mystery should carry each failing within our swords feud the same surrounded by description there are words waiting to be found to define the rupture magic markings hinted on the walls of recognition a bulletin of the one and all a perfect scar looking frozen day begins looking for the love deliver your lover from hate in migrations shift a violent star persistence burns into smoke on the outskirts tears are just a fraction of this gift which we've been given the cosmos must shine for hours serve its darkness through which we lay here melody of a bird the voice which is a proof gifted with lightning oh melody of a bird the voice which is a proof gifted with lightning

Park Bench 05:04
i went to you tomorrow i went to you today in the corner of my room i found my thoughts of you to say the words i love you i need you I'll spare you all the details of the hours that i spent thinking it through leaning over myself on a park bench in the wrong side of the daylight they wanted to take me away but the powers that felt you might be true to spending life with you what more could i say? I'll spare you all the details of the hours that i spent thinking it through leaning over myself on a park bench in the wrong side of the daylight I need you i'm not looking away i'll keep after you until we are in a world of dreaming let me through i am following you to better days let's get them to our lives i am spending all my days with you I'll spare you all the details of the hours that i spent thinking it through leaning over myself on a park bench in the wrong side of the daylight the leaves behind me now are through they won't come back again the way we were yesterday the birds are looking down at you from the heights water is filling your eyes I'll spare you all the details of the hours that i spent thinking it through leaning over myself on a park bench in the wrong side of the daylight I'll spare you all the details of the hours that i spent thinking it through leaning over myself on a park bench in the wrong side of the daylight
